Shaking myself from thoughts best left alone, I tossed my clothes into the basket that served as a hamper and turned on the water. The spray of hot water flowed down my back as I leaned my hands against the black tile, listening to my kitten pace like a caged beast in the next room. Her pacing picked up speed the longer I stayed in the shower, and I smiled, taking my time washing.

By the time I shut the water off and stepped out, a thick cloud of steam filled the bathroom. Why she insisted on resisting the inevitable and torturing us both was beyond me, but I’d play her game for the time being.

The pacing stopped as I opened the door into her room, wet, with a towel hung low on my waist. “You need anything before I hit the sack?”

Her dark eyes traveled the length of my chest, and lower, staring at the towel covering my cock. It was too good of an opportunity to pass up, so I brought the towel up to my hair and started drying it. I could feel the heat of her eyes concentrating on my growing erection. Look, your fill, kitten, and see what you're depriving yourself of.

I wrapped the towel around my neck and held it by the ends. “See anything you want?”

Her pupils dilated, and her eyes flashed to gold. There’s my beastie, right on time. A snarl filled the air as her black beast emerged, fierce and gorgeous. My fangs extended as I walked toward her, golden eyes tracking my movements. Her eyelids slowly falling closed as I reached up and ran my hand through the feather soft hair along her neck.

“Beastie, I can’t have you fighting with Kayla. It’s too dangerous, with someone after you. You need to remain strong and unified, but that can’t happen until I give you at least part of what you need.” I inhaled my beastie’s scent — pine mixed with sweet floral. “I wish I could give you everything you desire, but I won’t force Kayla. We need her.”
