Reapers are the peacekeepers—the balancers of life and death, good and evil. They’re the police of the Underworld in a way. They keep both worlds balanced just enough so that the King of the Underworld can never escape his prison.

For the day his reign stretches into the human world, all things good will come to an end.
This is the story of a dark king who cursed seven siblings with sins, and how far those seven went to protect both worlds from the end of days when an old entity challenged the Dark One’s very reign.
Isabella Wen has spent the last decade in the human world hiding from the one that turned her touch deadly, made her body a weapon for his own gain.
Sebastian Reaper—bearer of the sin of sloth and the eldest son of the revered Grim Reaper—has spent his entire life fighting to stay awake because of his curse.
When the witch finds the sleepy sloth passed out in the human hospital, they touch and sparks fly. Her touch should have hurt him. Instead, it’s the one thing he’s after.
She thinks her darkness is her undoing. He thinks she’s his cure.
When her past and her future collide, he must choose between duty and heart.
The world or her?
Each book in the series is about a different sibling and their sin, so the romance has an ending in each book. As for the storyline, it’s just getting started

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
*4.5 STARS*

Oh yes. Paranormal romance is my jam! This book is definitely 18+ so keep that in mind before purchasing. Let's get on to the fun stuff. Bewitching Sloth was just that: bewitching. I loved Sebastian's character! He was outspoken, confident, capable, funny, and smoking hot with a serious set of fighting skills.

Sebastian just has one problem...he's a severe narcoleptic. Because he is host to the sin of sloth, his energy drains out of him quickly, and lately, every time he succumbs to his sin, he's been staying out longer and longer. His greatest fear is that he will fall asleep and never wake up. But enough of the heavy. Did I mention he's hilarious?

"Is it the hood"? I asked him. "I try to tell Grim that it freaks you guys out, but I think that's why he keeps it mandatory."

He relentlessly pursues Izzie and it first it's not in a romantic way. Her touch wakes him up and gives him tons of energy. Izzie isn't having any of it though. She's a witch who's been on the run from a super demon who can't be killed (in the book, peeps who can't be killed, like at all, are called entities) for several years and has learned that she can only rely on herself. She just wants to be left alone by everyone. She doesn't get close to supernatural creatures because her touch is lethal to everyone....except for Sebastian. And Sebastian desperately needs a solution to his pesky sin problem, so needless to say, he isn't letting her go without a fight.

"Easy there. I feel like I started us out wrong...Let's be friends?" he offered.
"No," I answered immediately.
"Maybe? Okay, that's good."

There's so much I want to say about this book but can't find the words. The books I enjoy the most are always the hardest to review! I find that scenes/excerpts of the story are what draw me in the most and make me want to read a book, so I'm going to share some of the bits I highlighted on my Kindle.

"You're not curious at all about me?"
"No," I replied evenly.
"I've been told I've got a good face. Don't you think I have a good face?"

"Love is beautiful, witch, don't laugh about it. Love is strength. It's the very thing we all need that makes life a little easier."

"You have the face of a princess and the touch of the plague, I do believe I'll keep a good distance between us."

"You have the face of a king and the mind of a pig, I think I'll return the favor."

There is so much more to Bewitching Sloth than just mushy moments and sassy comebacks, I promise. There are tons of epic fight scenes and things got really scary there for a while. Books with unhappy endings aren't common, but this one had me on the edge of my seat, swiping left on my Kindle faster than it could keep up with me. There were several scenes that seriously creeped me out. The author's writing style is very descriptive and really draws you in. The story definitely gave me Lords of the Underworld by Gena Showalter vibes, so if you enjoy books like that, then I highly recommend you give Bewitching Sloth a go. You won't regret it!

Michelle is from a small town in Eastern Kentucky where opossums try to blend in with the cats on the porch and bears are likely to chase your pets—this is very true, it happened with her sister’s dog. Despite the extra needed protection for your pets, she loves the mountains she calls home. She has a man and twin girls who are the light of her life and the reason she’s slightly crazy.
As a kid, she was that cousin, that friend, that sister and daughter, the talker who could spin a tale and make-believe into any little thing so it was no surprise when she found love in reading, and figured all these characters inside her head needed an outlet. They wanted to be heard, so she wrote.
The voices keep growing faster than she gets the time to write.
The stories are never going to end. That’s perfectly okay, though. We never want to stop an adventure.
She writes and loves many different genres so sign up to her mailing list to keep updated on her releases!
